DartmouthBuzz: Developed by two '84s! Please join us as early adopters of Dartmouth Buzz, which was developed by two members of the Class of ‘84. When used widely, Dartmouth Buzz will make the Dartmouth Campus a better place to live and study. Dartmouth Buzz provides anonymous, real-time chat as well as crowd counts for all areas on campus. Throughout the day, you will be able to see how many Buzz users are at any location. When enough community members have installed Dartmouth Buzz, you will know whether your favorite places are crowded or not. You will also have access to useful information about what is going on at that location. In order for this to work, however, we need your participation. Real-time location based comments: Users can post and view anonymous, real-time comments anywhere on campus. This enables you to know what is going on and to make informed decisions about where you want to be. As a member of the Buzz community, we hope that you will post useful comments. It’s a small effort for community members to help each other save time and make better choices. Anonymous chat: Dartmouth Buzz also provides anonymous, location-based chat. This is a great way to save time, share information, and maybe even make a few new friends on campus. Population density data: Dartmouth Buzz enables users to see anonymous population density, or crowd levels, throughout the Dartmouth campus.
